WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW A DAY TO YOUR BIRTHDAY

New age
New level
New stage

Abigail Adam once said
" it is not in the still calmness of life, or the repose of a Pacific station, that a GREAT CHARACTER is formed. The habit of a vigorous mind is formed in contending with the challenges of life"

From sunrise to sunset, a day is added to our life. As we know, once it complete 12months, a new age has been born. We mark it by celebrating our birthday. This new age comes as the old age fades away.

Martin Luther King Jr foresaw this age and said
" it is an exciting age, filled with hope. It's an age in which a new world order is being born. We stand between two worlds: The dying one and the emerging new"

This new age entails so much--- the pleasures and challenges in it. It draws my attention to modern philosophy, where Hegel teaches a doctrine of GROWTH THROUGH STRUGGLE. And it seems to be historically and biologically true that, there can't be Birth and Growth without Growing Pains.

Facing the challenges of the new means standing up to the responsibilities of our new age and stage. Handling what might hit us because we are on a new level.

Sometimes our greatest challenge isn't starting the race, but staying in the race until the end. You may not need to end what you are doing, you just need the endurance to keep doing it.  You are on the right path, headed to the right direction. Your GOAL now is to stay on the course, not to get distracted by boredom, curiosity, fatigue or frustration.

All the power and fuel we need to keep running the good race is not all up to us. Remember, the strength we need to endure is found in JESUS. He is in the race with us, empowering us to finish strong.
